Match the session

Fluid and fuel are different jobs.

Halftime is being designed for the sport moments when the plan calls for more than a drink that only flavors water.

WaterThe foundation of a hydration plan. For many shorter or lighter sessions, water may be the right choice.
ElectrolytesAn electrolyte-only product can serve a different job when the plan does not call for meaningful carbohydrate.
Fuel + HydrationHalftime is being developed for selected sessions when fluid, carbohydrate, and electrolytes belong in the same bottle plan.

When Halftime fits

Built for the sessions that run long.

The concept is being developed around demanding sport occasions where normal food is difficult to use during the session and an athlete’s plan calls for both fluid and fuel.

  • Long practices or games
  • Repeated sessions or tournament schedules
  • Training days when a portable bottle plan is useful

Why carbohydrate is included

The fuel is part of the job.

The planned carbohydrate is not an incidental sweetener. It is part of the concept’s intended role: combine fluid, fuel, and electrolytes in one portable serving for qualified demanding sessions.

Portable plan

One single-serve format.

The intended format is designed to travel in a sports bag and mix into a normal sport bottle. Final preparation directions are not yet set.

Drinkability

Built to keep the bottle approachable.

Flavor, sweetness, saltiness, and water volume are still being tested. The goal is a practical drink experience athletes will use as directed.

Real-session fit

Designed for use beyond the lab.

Mixability, bottle handling, stomach comfort, and team or tournament use all need to be understood before launch.

Before launch

A clear occasion first. Exact details next.

The product category and demanding-session occasion are established working directions. The finished formula and preparation plan are still being developed.

For athletes, parents, and coaches

Halftime questions, answered plainly.

Do I need Halftime for every practice?

No single product fits every session. Halftime is being developed for long, hard, or repeated sport. For shorter or lighter sessions, water may be enough. The final session guide will be specific to the finished product.

Why include carbohydrate when zero-sugar electrolytes exist?

Halftime is being designed for a different job. The planned carbohydrate is part of the fuel-and-hydration concept for demanding sessions, while an electrolyte-only product may fit another situation.

How is this different from water or an electrolyte-only mix?

Water provides fluid. An electrolyte-only mix provides a different formulation. Halftime is being developed to combine carbohydrate and electrolytes when both belong in the athlete’s plan.

How much water will one serving use?

The final water volume and preparation directions are still being tested. They will be published on the finished label and every single-serve package before sale.

Can Halftime prevent dehydration or heat illness?

No product should be presented as preventing or treating heat illness or guaranteeing safety in the heat. Athletes should follow qualified medical, sports-medicine, team, and event guidance and seek appropriate care for symptoms.
